If you are running the half marathon, packet pickup and race day registration will take place at Canisius College from 6:00am right up until the start of the race at 7am. The start line will be in front of Canisius College 2001 Main St. at Jefferson Ave. The half marathon course takes runners on city streets to Delaware Park where they will complete 5 counterclockwise laps around the park as shown below. The finish line will be located in the southwest corner of the park.
Half marathon runners will pass under the finish line arch inside Delaware Park a total of five (5) times. The 5th time they pass under will be the finish of their race. Runners who do not complete the required number of loops around Delaware Park will be disqualified. The finish line for the race is located in the southwest corner of the park. Post race celebration and awards will be at St. George Orthodox Catholic Church at the north end of the park and shuttle service will be provided back to your vehicle at Canisius College. If you are running the 5K, race day registration and packet pickup will take place at St. George Orthodox Catholic Church from 7:15am until 8:45am. You will need to allow at least 10 minutes to walk to the start line located at the opposite end of the park (CLICK HERE to view the 5K course map).
The 5K route is a two loop course. Runners will travel in a counterclockwise direction passing under the finish line twice. The second time you pass under the finish line will be the finish of your race. Runners who do not complete the required number of loops around Delaware Park will be disqualified.
